"Still trying out my hills and skills-navigated my way around Silver Howe and Lang Howe last weekend with Sal, all went very well until I lead us into a "forest" of dead ferns and dead trees (apparently I learned later that it was an old Juniper tree plantation!).Any how remembered your advice, kept my head and followed a downward beck to the valley bottom, so still live to tell the tale! As you are probably aware a few of your group have got together calling ourselves "Community Hikers "and have/are planning a few excursions about one every 2 months and have a WhatsApp by the same name."
